Apollo 9

Scarlet Room sweater, Seven flared jeans, Brixton hat, Hollywood Collection ring, La Dama rosary, vintage rhinestone necklace, Ashish for Topshop leopard platforms (not seen)

The Scarlet Room and Hollywood Collection was nice enough to send over a few things for me to play with. This sweater is especially perfect for transitioning into fall. And the ring is inspired by a platinum and diamond ring worn by Jean Harlow in the 1930s. Ray has been working non-stop on a major motion movie. That means, you'll probably be seeing a lot of late night photos.

Tonight, my boyfriend learned that I like to watch Mad Money on CNBC when he's not around. Actually, it was more like "YOU watch Mad Money?!" Hmph. I guess it's impossible to insert stock market terms into casual conversation without arousing suspicion. This is further compounded by the fact that I don't actually own any stock. During the course of watching Jim Cramer do his thing... I like to repeat what he says... partly because I think it's funny... partly because I'm tragically impressionable.

Hmm... what do we think about the flares?

Love the outfit (from what I can see -- the lighting's not fantastic)!! That sweater looks so cozy, too.

Good on you for trying out a new silhouette, but can't really see the flares very well! Cute sweater, though.

love the photos!

Flares are always good and a nice change from skinnies!

Well, You can't really see the flares all that well(the lighting's fairly dark). From what I can see, you seem inspired by the Rachel Zoe flare look. Which is always chic and fabulous.

Love the flares, so Rachel Zoe!

I'd really like to see a picture in better lighting of the whole outfit, shoes included. This looks like an awesome outfit!

I'm digging the silhouette. I was largely avoiding flares because rules say they will balance out my ass (ugh), but I think I'm growing tired of straight legs and skinnies...

Sweet.

cool sweater!

hmm...can't see 'em. but the rest of you looks great. i like that it looks like you're holding a ball of light.
i, too, suffer from giant assness. but i think flares make me look short. bootcut seems to be the widest possible silhouette.

I can't see your flares bro.
But you look fab

I love that sweater! It is indeed perfectly transitional. Now it's going on my wish list.

I think the the flare jeans flatter your figure because you're slim. If anything, they give the appearance of elongating your legs! :)

And your ring is gorgeous!

I don't like flares unless it is a trouser. I did however super cuff my flares in middle school because I did not control all the clothes that were bought for me.

I LOVE the flares. I'm getting so tired of skinny denim. Bootcut, flares, and wide leg are the way to go right now... for me, at least.

I actually just bought that sweater in cream and have it in a purplish/navy color too.

Kinda sick of getting of skinny jeans so I've been trying to find a good pair of wide leg or flare jeans.

I totally want to do my own DIY version of this sweater. I really like it as a layering option!

I think they're sick. Keep doin ya thang, baby girl. lol Jim Cramer is awesome - my dad is involved in the whole stocks thing and that man never leaves the TV screen.

can barely see the flares, but they look pretty cool... I have to say I was getting kind of sick of flared jeans and never thought I'd wear them again, but if they're done in a self-aware 90's way (rather than a tacky suburban way) they could be pretty sweet.

i like the flares. and you rock them well :) but i'm a sucker for 70's fashion :)

The stock market is a lie unless you have a good investment banker friend to help you with your fiscal ventures. Then it's still a lie, but one you can make money from.

The flares are a-okay.

Cramer is fun to repeat. though my repeating the sound effects would probably hurt my (imaginary) badass rep if anyone ever saw

EPIC photography, love all of it.

I love your fashion jewelry accessories. The cocktail ring is multicolor and just shines in the dark. The necklace and layered bracelets give you that emo look but still make you look fab. If you're looking for cheap fashion jewelry, you can find lots at www.eternalsparkles.com

Lulu, this looks like a great fit, too bad the shots are a little dark!

But yeah, love that you're wearing flared pants. It's refreshing to see people wearing something other than skin tight peg leg pants.

I dont really see resemblance between you and rumi. Just because youre both asian? So weird. Youve got completely different faces.

that being said, I love these shots. freaking awesome.

The truth hurts. Just SAY NO to Flares.
