I've been meaning to do a post about this. Last month, Emily had approached me to write for the Style section of The Huffington Post. Ranked by the Observer as "the most powerful blog in the world," it was certainly a pleasure to be asked to contribute.
My brain is already swelling up with ideas. In general, it would be nice to see something written about fashion blogs beyond the impact of a teenage girl's shopping adventures at their local chain retailer [insert pointless quote and commentary]. Or you know... at least not the same 'ol.

o I looked at their Style section to see what it was all about, and the most interesting headline was "Woman With Longest Nails On Trauma Of Breaking Them". Are you sure you want to be a part of that? Oh well, I guess it can only get better.

Try reading a million articles about fashion blogging that make nothing more of a statement then "You can get a lot of perks"! "we are like real life models!" as they contemplate a pair of palazzo pants at Forever 21. Sorry, if you haven't noticed. I don't think there's anything wrong with having higher expectations for journalists.

Seriously, there are some photos of you that if I was shown them, I would guess they are hers. You stand like her. You look like her. You pose like her. You also don't smile. Do you really not see a comparison?
I'm not saying you're not beautiful. You really are gorgeous and have way better style than me! But it's unbelievable how similar you and Rumi are.
-Rumis hair - I have always worn my hair messy. More than one person is allowed to dye their hair.
