Vintage Irvine Sellars (shortened), Nordstrom dot tights, YSL Tribute pumps, bangles from NepalI wore this the first night in New York. It was supposed to take me from dinner to show to party. I didn't to make it to the show, but I did stop by the party @ Atelier - literally, it felt like the entire room was wearing Rick Owens, Ann D, or all black. The burgundy dress was quite the elephant in the room. I found one boy wearing a bright blue backpack and I decided to go stand next to him.
In college, I used to fall asleep with the television on for imaginary warmth. I would always have it on CNN - partly for the news, partly for... well... have you ever noticed that CNN's news is just so much more vivid looking than anything else on tv?

The tv is a very nice one, indeed. Stands are overrated. LOL.

Black is overrated. Wear all white! Also it looks like you've loaded up on the eye makeup...although it may just be the lighting in the pictures. Either way you look gorgeous as always!

Those tights are amazing! I'm seeing them on several blogs and I love how undeniably feminine and quirky they are. I think I might need a pair.
And I used to do the EXACT same thing when I lived alone. I needed to feel like I wasn't by myself so I would mute the TV and have CNN on all night. I didn't know anyone else did that!

I do the same thing, but with my computer. can't afford TV and internet because I'm a poor college student :P laptops work really well for this too because I've perfected the "not knocking it off the bed while sleeping" skill. helps that I've got a platform bed, so not much would happen anyhow :P

Patent tribs are fun, but I hate the blue bottoms. I'd go with matte then.

You know what else is really vivid (colorwise on television)? Cartoons. Like Cartoon Network. My stepdad made that profound discovery the other day. Haha. I hadn't noticed it before, but it's completely true!
