Pulp Fiction

Alison showed me a genius series entitled PULP - A COLLABORATION BETWEEN SUPERMODEL JONI HARBECK & PHOTOGRAPHER NEIL KRUG.

  • My lack of breadth tells me that this is heavily Jodorowsky-inspired.
  • I'm still looking for that perfect all white outfit.
  • Will debut my new Comme des Garcons white pleat skirt today.
  • Yesterday, I spent 15 minutes contemplating tomato soup. It appears summertime is no longer doing good things for my brain.
  • I've decided that I either need to move to LA or never ever go there again. That city does weird and unexplainable things to me.
  • Anyone else dying to see this?

Awesome photos, the ambiance is so dreamy! I wish we had summer here... instead it's been pouring rain for a week straight, boo!

Glad to see you enjoyed the photos as much as I did.

I read an interview with Neil Krug, and he was definitely influenced by Jodorowsky, along with spaghetti western films and other artists.

Hey Lulu,
I've been sort of MIA from the blog-o-sphere. Reading others and posting on my own. I just looked back on the post you made at the beginning of last month. I know it gets hard. I know I'm stuck in a rut. But I hope you don't quit. I see your talent and I understand your frustration.

PS.- On a lighter note, I adore this image of the girl in the headdress. reposting. thank you.

brilliant inspiration and all, but could that bloog on the windshield look any more like nail polish or something?

I'd love to see that Picture Me documentary, everyone needs to realise that the modelling world is nowhere close to glamorous and comfortable, and so many of us are worshipping that life culture.

LA is so blah. Don't do that to yourself.
I'm thinking of moving to the Bay, myself.

I'm undecided. There are some really nice shots, but all-in-all it seems a bit forced or try-hard!

I could've sworn the model was Gisele Bundchen, but thought there was no way she'd do editorials like that now. Love it.

Please update about your hair when you get it done! I just got some highlights, nothing too drastic, but I don't know how I feel about them yet. I was told they'll kind of grow in and look a bit more natural, so...203923 hours more to go until I decide whether I like them or not.

Woah, scrolling through the photos I actually thought I was looking at supermodel, Gisele Bundchen. I even said "I didn't know she did cool photoshoots!" and only to read that it is in fact, Joni Harbeck. haha
