Takashi Miike is an amazing director. I really recommend these films if you are into this kind of stuff.
Following this entry, I was cracking up over the amount of "epic cat shirts" and/ or re: wolf shirt responses I received via email. I have to say, reader Malina wins with this version. I mean... there are like TEN CATS!!!

DUDEBRO HIFIVE: YESSSSSSSSSSSSS I love Takashi Miike's films. Though I didn't like suicide circle at all, except for the memorable train bit. LOVED ICHI THE KILLER (Kakihara <3) and AUDITION (with the man in the bag) of course. Yeah, can't sleep so, comments for Lulu.

I haven't seen suicide circle yet, but the other films were great.
I know this is a different director....but have you seen Old boy? It's amazing. (I feel like you would have, but just in case, haha).

I almost spit my coffee out when I saw that cat shirt. All I can say is WTF?!? Sadly, it kinda looks like a gift my grandma would give me. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be a 12 year old girl forever in her eyes. Two birthdays in a row she's given me cat necklaces. I don't have a cat. I haven't had a cat since I was 18. Just sayin...
duuude I literally JUST watched Audition last night and contemplated concluding the gorefest with Ichi the Killer but then I got a bit sleepy. There's a cool 'commentary' in IMDB for Audition if you were wonder wtf it all means. gotta see the suicide circle...

Ichii the Killer and Audition are both amazing movies.
Have you seen Visitor Q or Gozu? Those are both amazing as well.
The last Miike movie I saw was Sukiyaki Western Django, which was pretty to look at and had some hot guys in it, but the story was pretty poop-tastic.
I refuse to watch Audition though... ick.

I was kakihara for halloween last year.
visitor q is my absolute favorite miike film. watch it if you haven't yet!
i didn't like suicide circle, though. it didn't really make much sense to me :P
