Return to Earth

Pippa Small rings, AESA necklaces

My friend Tim showed me this movie called The Holy Mountain (1973) by Alejandro
Jodorowsky. If you haven't seen it, you really should. The whole thing doesn't even make sense until the end. Luckily, there is always alcohol to see your way through. Maybe somewhat inspired by the movie, I've been craving uncut quartz and semi-precious stones. Jewelry that feels mystical. These Pippa Small rings are made for stacking, it's too bad they're completely out of my price range.

PS: I'm out of beer.

Ive seen that movie several times, its something new each time. I recently re-saw another of his movies El Topo that was just as great if not odder!

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE, I thought I was the only person born in the 80's that's seen that film. You're completely right about the end making the entire thing make sense.

Best scene: the battle of Mexico.

I swear, I'm so geeked that someone else saw that. Really, I am.

Jodorowsky does surrealist film so well, not in an entirely random and disjointed way. Santa Sangre is my personal favorite, yet difficult to locate. If you find it though, it's worth watching.

bahaha I MUST see this. Avec beer, naturally.

OMG - you know what, Lulu? There was a creepy creepy movie that my half brother and sister made me watch when I was 7...I could never remember what it was but suddenly this all looks way too familiar, in a scary childhood nightmare kind of way. I think it was this film! AHHHHHHH!
